Italian Matteo Tagliariol outpointed France's Fabrice Jeannet 15-9 to win the Men's Individual Epee gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games here on Sunday.
The bronze medal went to Jose Luis Abajo of Spain who beat Gabor Boczko of Hungary 8-7.
