Usain Bolt to run in sprint double
Usain Bolt has confirmed that he will be running in the men’s 100 and 200 meter races. The 100 meters is sure to be one of the most anticipated events between Bolt, Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell. There is also a chance that none of them win and a rookie gets up and wins the race.
“For Tyson or Asafa to beat Usain, they would need to have a flawless start and a flawless acceleration phase and still stay relaxed,” said Donovan Bailey, the 1996 gold medalist.
“It almost seemed like Usain had another turbo gear that he hadn’t unleashed yet, like it was a 120-metre race,” Bailey added of Bolt’s world-record run.
