Great news for Argentina! FIFA passed a resolution which ordered Barcelona to allow Lionel Messi to play in the Olympics.
“Luckily the issue was solved to our favor after so many coming and going,” said coach Sergio Batista.
Messi is traveling to Italy on Thursday and then on to Beijing. Argentina will play Cote d’Ivoire on Aug. 7, a day before the opening ceremony of the Olympic games.
