Nike is set to allow its swimmers to wear the the new high-tech Speedo swimsuits instead of its own.
Several world records have been broken by swimmers wearing the new suits.
“It is about putting their performance and their focus first,” Nike spokesman Dean Stoyer said. “This is what they have trained for. It is the biggest moment of their lives.”
The German teams have had problems with the Adidas and Japan with Mizuno.
